1. Who we are
Ayn ("Ayn", "we", "us") is an online marketplace operated by TeqBooster that connects customers with independent photographers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use Ayn, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
2. Information you give us
We collect the information you provide when you create an account or use Ayn:
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored in a secure, hashed form that cannot be read back), preferred language and, if you choose, a profile photo.
- Contact details: your phone number, which is shared with the other party only after a booking is confirmed.
- Photographer profile: bio, specialties, years of experience, country and city, working hours, packages and prices, and portfolio photos. This information is public.
- Bookings: the package, date and time, the location you choose (an address and, if you allow it, a map pin from your device) and any notes.
- Messages you exchange with the other party of a booking, reviews you write and reports you submit.
- Payment details for photographer subscriptions: the plan, the payment reference and any payment screenshot you upload. We do not collect or store card numbers.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
3. Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, used to keep the service secure, prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated login attempts) and fix problems.
- A record of your agreement to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, including the date, time and IP address.
- Strictly necessary cookies only: a login cookie that keeps you signed in and a language cookie that remembers your preferred language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your email address.
- To show photographer profiles and help customers find and book them.
- To handle bookings, messages, reviews and reminders, and to send service emails in your chosen language.
- To manage photographer subscriptions and free trials.
- To keep Ayn safe: preventing fraud and abuse, reviewing reports and, where necessary, suspending accounts.
- To answer your questions and improve Ayn.
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With other users, as needed for the service: public profile information for photographers; your name and booking details with the other party of a booking; and your phone number and the shoot location only after the booking is confirmed.
- Publicly: reviews are shown on the photographer’s profile with the reviewer’s first name only.
- With service providers who help us run Ayn, such as website hosting, email delivery and security services. They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
- When you use map links, the location opens in a third-party map service under its own privacy policy.
- When required by law, to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or Ayn, or in connection with a transfer of the business.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account is active. Some records, such as bookings, payments, reports and messages, are kept for a reasonable period afterwards for security, dispute handling, accounting and legal reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
7. Your choices and rights
You can view and update most of your information from your profile at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to certain uses of it, by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep certain information where the law requires or allows it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and abuse protection. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
9. Children
Ayn is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Ayn is available worldwide, and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. If the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or on the site.
12. Contact us
